Art journal / treasure book.
Dimensions: Around 16 cm (6“) high, 10 cm (4“) wide, and 2,5 cm (1“) spine.
I painted a mixed media face on the cover of an old book covered with collaged old dictionary pages.It has 2 signatures binded with C-lon micro cord with gold and silver beads on the outside of the spine, total of 84 pages.
For the signatures I used watercolor paper, tan colored mixed media paper, brown & black drawing paper, 2 old book pages, 1 pink and 1 red card stock with linen texture, covered with a soft pink chalk paint.
Handmade spiral paper clips to hold 2 envelopes with a vintage lace detail on the closure and writing paper inside, 1 tag and ephemera clusters with tea bag paper and pages of on old psalm book from 1930.
It has 2 bookmarks with beads and coins dangles.
The closure is made with black lace.
