I use my art journal mainly to try different media and new techniques. I like to paint expressive faces that don’t readily give away their stories. They make you wonder, who are these mysterious women and why do they seem to pull us into their world with their transparent skin, and breathtakingly frozen glances. Most of the portraits are painted on a collage background.
